Are Elite Athletes Role Models?
Description
Athletes in many sports have role model status and Olympians especially so. Olympian values suggest that such role models should be positive ones, aspiring to the highest standards of personal and professional conduct. This is not always the case, and this case study considers the implications for sponsorship and for role model status, with reference to the Olympic TOP Partner Programme.
