Marking criteria
Your online exhibit will be assessed for its strengths as an evaluation of the formative assessment task or learning activity. Please chose an activity to evaluate that covers your design of the activity (A1) and such that the activity involves assessment or feedback to learners (A3). It is expected that this will be formative assessment or feedback.
The assignment will be assessed against the follow marking criteria:
- Core Knowledge – you will be expected to demonstrate your knowledge of the teaching of your subject (K1) and your knowledge of appropriate methods for teaching your subject (K2)
- Reflection and evaluation – you will be expected to reflect on and evaluate the appropriateness of the chosen activity (K2) in the context of designing the activity (A1) and either assessing or giving feedback to learners (A3)
- Professional Values – you will be expected to demonstrate your commitment to the values of individual respect for learners (V1)
- Critical Analysis & Synthesis and communication – you will be expected to critically analyse the activity from an evidence-informed perspective using research and/ or literature and demonstrate a commitment to using such literature to inform your future practice (V3)
