Oxford Brookes University has risen a further three positions to 48th in the latest Complete University Guide.
It is the second consecutive year that the University has improved its position in the rankings.
Professor Alistair Fitt, Vice-Chancellor of Oxford Brookes University said: “I am delighted to have improved on our position in the Complete University Guide for the second year running.
“Our successful climb reflects our commitment to providing excellent teaching, research and student support, and the improvements we continue to make.
“During these unprecedented times, many students will be considering what their academic future looks like and I hope this latest success will be further encouragement for those looking to join the Oxford Brookes community.”
In addition, Oxford Brookes has three subject areas ranked in the top ten, these are Land and Property (4), Occupational Therapy (6) and Building (8).
Last year, Oxford Brookes was ranked first in the UK for research and second for teaching in the Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings 2019.
