Black History Month: Dreams and Legacies Oxford Brookes Poetry Centre has commissioned poets and photographers to produce new work inspired by interviews with students and staff of colour at Oxford Brookes. In these interviews, conducted by Kanja Sesay (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Adviser – Students), the participants discuss mental health, spirituality, family, and definitions of success. By setting the creative responses alongside text from the interviews, we hope to prompt the Brookes community into thinking more deeply about the experiences of students and staff of colour here.
