Can Olympic Sport Learn from Bodybuilding?
Description
Drugs are a problem in many sports, including a number of Olympic sports, and Bodybuilding provides an interesting example of a sport which has tried to tackle the problem of drugs through offering two categories of participation. The 'Natural' and the 'Assisted' versions of the sport offer the opportunity to distinguish between those who want to stay' clean' and those who don't. Two case studies illustrate how this approach works through the experiences and insights of the current British Champion and a former World Champion.
