Week 4 video transcript
Welcome to week 4. I am Marion Waite and you will have seen me on the tooc videos, I am your lead tutor for week 4.
This week’s overarching theme is supporting student learning in online environments. This builds on your work and outputs from the previous three weeks.
The main tasks for the week is as follows:
- Essential reading and for this week we have broken with the course tradition and there are 2 key readings!
- The badge activity. We have some some ready-prepared scenarios for you to work through and problem solve.
- Planning support in the online environment and evaluating critical incidents based on your own experiences. It is clear from introductions and profiles some of don’t currently have an online teaching role. Don’t worry about this because by now you do have experience as an online learner, so you can draw on some of the critical incidents that you may have experienced during this course.
Buliding on outputs from the previous three weeks.
For the assessed participants, all of these activities lead very well into the the assignment brief and therefore this will be the focus for the Webinar at 12md on Monday 31st March. See you there!
