Postgraduate Dissertation

Impact of ethical hacking in banking sector

Abstract

This dissertation investigates "Ethical Hacking" as a concept and activity. People who use hacking expertise, knowledge, and methods within permissible, permitted practises are known as ethical hackers, and they work as hackers. The main objectives of ethical hacking in the banking and financial industries are client pleasure and heightened trust in the business, which leads to customer retention. Customers who used traditional banking methods felt less trust from banks regarding the privacy of their personal information. But as technology developed and more people used credit cards, online banking, online payments, and other services, people's confidence in banks started to grow. The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether or not consumers are satisfied with the ethical hacking practises employed by the banking sector and whether or not banks attempt to notify consumers about these practises in order to safeguard their personal information. Customer satisfaction is the KING of criterion to judge any banking business because banking is a customer-oriented service industry.
