This RLO (re-usable learning object) is the outcome of a joint project between Oxford Brookes/School of Health and Social Care and CIPeL (Centre for Interprofessional e-Learning). It aims to highlight the complexities of effective discharge planning in relation to working collaboratively across professions/services in health and social care. By utilising the expertise and funding from CIPeL, the RLO makes use of a software package, Articulate Studio, and presents the people involved in the case by using ‘talking heads’ created with a software called ‘Crazy Talk’. The resource can be used as a whole or in sections (stages of the discharge process); as a tool for classroom discussion or to enhance independent self-directed learning.
