Service improvement for better, safer healthcare

Description

This video is a recording of a presentation given to third year Learning Disability Nursing students by Sue Lister about service improvement within the NHS. Service improvement is a means of modifying systems and procedures to improve the well-being and safety of patients/staff, increase efficiency and reduce costs. A video that takes the viewer through the processes involved in making service improvements, from introducing the theme, to process mapping and describing a model for improvement. It includes some enlightening examples of service improvement projects undertaken by students.
