The judicial statistics collated relate to all crimes recorded and indicted at the Scottish courts between 1805 and 1960 and involve the business brought to the Burgh and Police Courts, the Sheriff Courts and the Justiciary Court over the entirety of that period. The data has been grouped into six spreadsheets with the following categories: 1/ Fatal violence 2/ Sexual violence 3/ Interpersonal violence 4/ Mobbing and rioting 5/ Violent property crime 6/ Non-violent property crime
