Michael Jackson, known as ‘The Beer Hunter’ or ‘The Whisky Chaser’, was a leading expert on beer and whisky. He was a prolific journalist and lecturer, whose books have sold over three million copies worldwide and in fifteen languages.

The Michael Jackson Collection, includes his personal library on beer, whisky and other drinks, as well as copies of his own books. There is also much research material, including hand-written notebooks, a selection of awards including four Glenfiddich awards for food writing, as well as photographs and press and book reviews.

This collection is a small number of digitised cassette tapes which Michael Jackson used to take research notes, particularly when travelling.
